Composite Materials and Lightweight Structures Laboratory

The Research Team within Composite Materials and Lightweight Structures Laboratory consists of experienced scientists who combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

About Us

Our team specializes in advanced composite materials, focusing on innovative methods of design, manufacturing, and research. We are committed to the research and development of composite materials that find wide applications in various fields, including aviation, automotive, energy, sports, and ballistics.

We specialize in the design and production of composite structural elements using the wet filament winding method. Our work includes the manufacturing of durable and lightweight pipes and pressure vessels, among other things. We use advanced techniques for designing wound structures, including finite element analysis (FEA) and mosaic pattern analysis. We are working on optimizing winding technology. We also engage in pultrusion and pullwinding technologies, enabling the production of composite profiles with complex shapes. Additionally, we utilize other technologies to produce various fiber-reinforced composite objects. We conduct non-destructive testing and structural analysis of composite materials.

Thanks to our passion for innovation, we deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. We are open to collaboration with research institutions and industrial partners to jointly develop modern composite technologies.
